NLCVA was this year’s Platinum Sponsor for Virginia Tech’s annual Conference on Higher Ed Pedagogy, commonly known as CHEP. The conference was held February 4-6 at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, Virginia.
The CHEP sponsorship is an example of how NLCVA fulfills its mission to advance the academic missions and learning technology activities of member institutions through knowledge sharing, leveraged resources, and collaboration on innovative programs and ideas.
The sponsorship enabled us to
- cover the registration fee for two individuals from two of our member institutions
- sponsor a luncheon hosted by the Virginia Educational Development Collaborative (VEDC) prior to the CHEP conference
- share a 5-minute elevator speech about NLCVA prior to the closing keynote of the conference, and
- host a meet-and-greet session
